Pakistan will play five T20s and two

Tests in the tour of the West Indies 

starting of July 27. 

Pakistan was to play three Tests and

3 T20 matches, but at the 

request of the PCB, instead of one 

Test, two T20 matches were added 

so that the team could have more 

opportunity to prepare for the 

World T20.

 

It is all right to prepare for the pre- 

match event but it is not a wise 

decision to play one Test match less 

for it. 

We already play very few Test 

cricket and you have the same 

example in mind. What do we do 

then? 

Preparations for the Cricket World

Cup cannot take place in the last 

two months or six months, so 

planning and strategy have to be 

decided at least two years in 

advance.
